== Basic text formatting ==
You can format the page using Wikitext special characters.

{|width="80%" border="1" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"
You can ''italicize text'' by putting 2
apostrophes on '''each''' side.

3 apostrophes will '''embolden the text'''.

5 apostrophes will '''embolden''' and ''italicize''
'''''the text'''''.

(Using 4 apostrophes doesn't do anything special -- <br>the last pair are just '''' left over ones'''' that are included as part of the text.)
A single newline
generally has no effect on the layout.
These can be used to separate
sentences within a paragraph.
Some editors find that this aids editing
and improves the ''diff'' function
(used internally to compare
different versions of a page).

But an empty line
starts a new paragraph.

When used in a list, a newline ''does'' affect the layout ([[#lists|see below]]).
===Source code===
{{main|mw:Extension:SyntaxHighlight GeSHi}}
If the syntax highlighting extension is installed, you can display programming language [[w:source code|source code]] in a manner very similar to the HTML <code><nowiki><pre></nowiki></code> tag, except with the type of [[w:syntax highlighting|syntax highlighting]] commonly found in advanced text editing software.

Here's an example of how to display some [[w:C Sharp (programming language)|C#]] source code:

<pre><nowiki>
using System;

class HelloWorld
{
public static int Main(String[] args)
Results in:
Templates are segments of Wiki markup that are meant to be copied automatically ("transcluded") into a page.
You add them by putting the template's name in <nowiki>{{double braces}}</nowiki>. It is also possible to transclude other pages by using <nowiki>{{:colon and double braces}}</nowiki>.
Some templates take ''parameters'', as well, which you separate with the pipe character.
== Restrictions ==
Some pages cannot be edited by everyone. A special function known as [[protection]] can be applied to a page by [[administrator]]s, making the said page uneditable to certain classes of users. There are several degrees of protection:
*If a page is semiprotected, it can be edited by everyone except IPs and accounts that have not yet been [[autoconfirmation|confirmed]].
*If a page is fully protected, only other admins can make edits to the page.
*A page can also be protected so that it cannot be [[move|moved]].
*In some cases, an admin might see fit to protect a page from being created.
*For very rare pages, such as the Main Page, "cascading" protection is applied, wherein every page that is [[transcluded]] onto a page is protected too.
There are various reasons why a page might be protected. Vandalism and spam can lead to semiprotection, while content wars and other severe cases can lead to full protection. There are other times where [[Office actions]] come into play. For the most part, protection is temporary and editing privileges are then restored. In any case, everyone can [[view source|view the source]] of any page, irrespective of its level of protection.
==Templates==
{{main|Help:Template}}

== Restrictions ==

* vehicle/openwrt/kamikaze_8.09/openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx

===Install using TFTP===

To install OpenWrt using TFTP or the ASUS firmware restoration tool you have to put the router in diag mode. To put the router in the diag mode, do this:

* Unplug the router's power cord.
* Confirm your PC is configured to request an address via DHCP.
* Connect the router's LAN1 port directly to your PC.
* Push the black RESTORE button using a pen or such, and keep the button pushed down.
* Plug the power on while keeping the RESTORE button pushed for few seconds.
* When you see a slowly blinking power light, you are in diag mode.
* Now the router should accept an image via TFTP or via the ASUS firmware restoration tool.

In diag mode, the router takes address 192.168.1.1. It responds to ping, so you can confirm that it is in diag mode and ready for the tftp by using "ping 192.168.1.1".

* Execute the TFTP commands below:
tftp 192.168.1.1
tftp> binary
tftp> trace
tftp> put openwrt-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx

* After the TFTP upload is complete, wait at least six minutes. The firmware is first loaded into the RAM, and then flashed. This process takes a little time, and to ensure that the router is not bricked you should wait six minutes.
* The router will reboot itself automatically after the upgrade is complete. Rebooting may take a while. It might be the case that the router does not reboot by itself; if this happens it should be safe to wait for the period mentioned and then to do a manual reboot (pull the power-cord).
* You are done! You should be able to telnet to your router (IP address: 192.168.1.1) and start configuring.

NOTES:

* Netkit's tftp doesn't work quite often; use atftp.
* After TFTP upload is complete, DON'T reboot (replug) too early! It might brick your router.
* The ASUS WL-500g Premium does not revert to the 192.168.1.1 address when starting the CFE bootloader, but uses the LAN IP address set in NVRAM. Try this address if you have difficulties.

=== Initial Configuration ===

Install packages:
opkg install kmod-usb...

Add autoinet.sh

Prepare USB flash drive

Make chroot
